Government of Alberta Sets Budget 2019 Date

Premier Jason Kenney announced that the Alberta budget is to be delivered on October 24, 2019.

The government is holding an online consultation asking the public “What are your strategies to balance Alberta’s budget by 2022-23?” You can provide your input on how to balance the budget here until Friday, October 11 at 4:30 pm.

You can share your thoughts with Finance Minister Travis Toews on a telephone town hall at:

  • Northern Alberta (north of Red Deer) on Monday, October 7 from 6:30 to 8pm

  • Southern Alberta (including Red Deer) on Wednesday, October 9 from 6:30 to 8pm

 Once released, CCVO will provide analysis on potential implications of the 2019 provincial budget to the nonprofit sector.
