Government releases Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention consultation report
Last October, the Government of Canada passed Bill C-65, legislation to better protect federally regulated workplaces from unacceptable behaviours. More than 1,000 Canadians provided feedback on proposed regulations centred around workplace harassment and violence prevention policies, and the kind of support employers should provide.
The Government has released the findings from the consultation and is accepting public comment until May 26, 2019. Canadians are encouraged to provide additional feedback before the regulations are finalized. For more information, please visit the Government of Canada website.
