Alberta Government Provides $60 Million to Charitable and Nonprofit Organizations to Support COVID-19 Response

On March 17, Premier Jason Kenney announced that his government will immediately provide $60 million to support municipalities, charities, and nonprofit organizations providing social services to support their COVID-19 response. The funding will be provided to adult homeless shelters, women’s emergency shelters, and the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) program.
