Alberta Commercial Rent Survey

The Government of Alberta is providing an opportunity for tenants and landlords to share any recent challenges they’ve faced. These challenges can be related to:  

• developing a repayment schedule,

• paying rent, or

• meeting other financial obligations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nonprofit commercial tenants are encouraged to share challenges they face during this time through the online commercial rent survey. The results of the survey are intended to provide insight into the types of issues businesses and landlords are experiencing, and if they have been able to access available supports. The results will also aid in determining whether additional measures are needed to support businesses struggling to pay rent during the COVID-19 pandemic.
